Nutrition FAQ
Can I eat my favorite foods?
You absolutely can! Adherence is the most important thing when it comes to long-term sustainability with your diet. So we encourage you to still eat your favorite foods. The goal is NOT to take them out, but how we can make adjustments to that food or to the rest of our day at times to keep those foods in our life and still lose weight.
Do I have to eat at home?
While eating at home is much cheaper and has way fewer calories. You 100% can and should at times still go eat out. It doesn’t make sense for us to say you never get to go have your favorite restaurant or not go eat out when you are in between your kiddo’s soccer game. Instead, we should be looking at making sure you’re able to stay on track while you’re eating out and still losing weight.
How fast will I lose weight?
This question is kinda like asking how long is a piece of string?? It depends on you, your body, your lifestyle, and how well you adhere to your program. If you want faster results, you’ll have to be more consistent.
What happens if I don’t lose weight?
We will adjust your program anytime something is plateaued for a certain amount of time. If you do EVERYTHING we ask of you and for some reason, you’re still not losing weight. We have our 10% guarantee, so if you don’t lose 10% of your weight in the next 4 months, we will coach you completely free, to ensure we can relax and get you the results you want. This is only if you do EVERYTHING we ask of you.
What do I do when I plateau?
It’s not a matter of if you plateau, but when you plateau. This is a natural process of losing weight. We ask you to do a few things. First look at yourself and take ownership of your situation. Second, we’ll ask you to be more consistent with what we have for you. Finally, we’ll adjust your program to get you to where you want to be.
How often do you change my nutrition plan?
We will change your nutrition plan when a plateau occurs and you’re not losing weight at a rate the coach is comfortable with.
Do I have to eat fruits and vegetables?
We are not going to force veggies down your mouth, especially not in the beginning. We will teach you the importance of eating them, how to make them in a way you enjoy them, and how to slowly introduce them into your diet.
Training FAQ
For in person coaching, do I meet my trainer at the same time every week?
We prefer to have set times and days of the week that you meet with your trainer. However, if you have a crazy schedule. What we’ll do is give you a link that shows you the times that we have open for the next week. You can schedule your times with your coach as your schedule changes to ensure you always get your sessions in.
How often do we change up my training plan?
We change up your training plan based on your liking and every single mesocycle (month). This keeps things fresh for you, but also gives you enough time to get comfortable with new movements while progressing in them
How much muscle will I gain?
This is again like asking how long is a piece of string?? It depends on you, your situation, your lifestyle, and how long you’ve been training for. A beginner will gain muscle at a quicker rate than someone who has been training for a while. So instead of worrying about this, we ask you to let go of the outcome and focus on the process. Control what you can control and focus on the process. The outcomes will take care of themselves.

Will I get too bulky?
Short answer… NO. You’re not an anomaly. Go look in the gym and you will see skinny males walking around who have loads of testosterone, lifting 5-6 days per week, and eating an absurd amount of calories and barely gaining weight. So if you control your eating in the slightest, you will NOT get too bulky. If something crazy and unforeseen happens, we will back off of progressing in the gym. (I wish this would happen to me haha)
Do I need to lift super heavy weights?
We will do what you like and can adhere to. Whether that is lifting super heavy weight with lower reps or lifting lighter weight, with a higher amount of reps. We recommend utilizing both ways in our training program. We adjust it depending on the movement, days of the week, and where the movement falls in your workout.
What equipment do I need?
We will be able to create your training program whether you are at home with no equipment, at home with limited equipment, or in a gym. We feel that in a gym is the easiest way to keep your training fresh as there is more weight and equipment. However, we also understand gym anxiety or the want to not go into a gym in general. Either way, our team will take care of you and give you a program that will help you get the results you are wanting.
